GianLuca Rolandelli is having 25+ years of technical experience and joined ABB in 2015, after workingwith prominent organizations in crucial roles (Project Management, Sales Support, Head of Professional Services). In ABB GianLuca started as responsible of Software Distribution Operations for Automation Software in the Industrial Automation Division. Since 2020, GianLuca has taken the role of Responsible for Product Management of Smart Water Solutions into Process Automation - Energy Industries Division of ABB (reporting to Water Segment Manager). In his current role, GianLuca is managing the product requirements and go-to-market operations (training, demos, pricing, documentation, and support to business opportunities), together with Strategic Roadmaps definition. GianLuca is also participating to discussion groups and standardization bodies regarding the future of Water and is promoting Digitalization as a key element for achieving Water Sustainability.

Nilay Das brings over two decades of expertise in the energy and infrastructure sectors across India, the Middle East, and Africa, a career initiated by extensive involvement in electrification and automation, particularly within sustainable water projects, large-scale steel plants, and mega refineries before relocating to Oman in 2009. Nilay has been persistently integrating ABB's cutting-edge technology and expertise into numerous greenfield projects across the Sultanate e.g. PDO’s Amal Steam, RHIP, Marmul Polymer, Ghubrah IWP, Muscat Airport, OQ Salalah Ammonia to name a few.
Currently serving in ABB's Process Automation Energy Industries division, Nilay is aligning ABB’s global strategy and Oman's vision for energy transition and enhancement of water infrastructure. His focus involves engaging with end client stakeholders, fostering collaboration, and leveraging ABB's sustainable solutions to contribute to the country's sustainable development goals and enriching the in-country value. Nilay holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from India and an MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
