I am currently working at Institute of Water Management and Treatment Technologies, KACST as an Assistant Research Professor at. I obtained my PhD in Environmental Science at School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University College Cork, Ireland in 2022. My research focuses on the study of the occurrence, fate, and environmental impact of different emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals and personal care products in aqueous and terrestrial matrices. Other of my research interests is the removal rate of these compounds through different conventional treatment processes applied. My research also focuses on the development of analytical methodologies for determination of pharmaceuticals in environmental matrices.
