“A Vision for Sustainable Water Stewardship”
As CEO of Nama Water Services, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to Oman Water Week 2026 – The Sultanate’s flagship platform for advancing sustainable water management, driving innovation and fostering international collaboration.
Over the past years, Oman Water Week has grown into a key event that connects visionaries, practitioners, policy leaders and researchers under a shared goal: “Shaping a resilient water future for Oman and the region”. The 2025 edition was a testament to this vision, bringing together more than 4,000 participants and stakeholders from over 70 countries and sparking powerful dialogues that translated into real-world action.
As we prepare for the 2026 edition, we do so with renewed purpose & even greater ambition. The global water landscape is rapidly evolving from the rising impact of climate variability to increasing demands for digitalization, reuse and resource efficiency. Oman Water Week 2026 will serve as a vital catalyst to explore these pressing challenges, spotlight breakthrough technologies, accelerate policy reform and pave the way for Oman as a champion of sustainability, striving for a net-zero carbon future by 2050.
We are excited to once again welcome the global water community to Muscat in April 2026. We will together explore intelligent resource use, share best practices and inspire actions that benefit both Oman and the global community.
I look forward to meeting each of you during Oman Water Week 2026 as we embark on this journey of knowledge and innovation. Join us as we build a smarter, more sustainable water future – together.
Let’s shape the future of water & champion sustainable development for our great nation, our communities and our planet.
Yours sincerely,
Qais bin Saud Al Zakwani
