With over 14 years of experience in environmental services, and is the Head of Industrial
Services at Veolia Oman. He oversees operations at BP Khazzan's Water Plant, Sewage
Treatment Plant, and Waste Management Area, as well as the Rima Water Treatment Plant
for PDO. Additionally, he is the CEO of Barka Desalination Company, responsible for major
corporate decisions, managing operations and resources, and serving as the main liaison
between the board of directors and corporate operations. Specializing in water management
and sustainable waste management, Asim ensures smooth execution of contracts while
promoting a strong health and safety culture on-site.
As a key focal point with BP’s and PDO’s management team, he is responsible for leading
and auditing Operation and Maintenance (O&M) tasks, coordinating site requirements, and
maintaining plant efficiency. His expertise spans contract management, team leadership, and
driving operational improvements to meet performance KPIs. Asim's career at Veolia has
progressed through various roles, from Senior Operator to OM Team Leader, showcasing his
ability to optimize plant operations and develop industrial projects aligned with client needs.
