Engineer Basem Alghamdi is a skilled project manager specializing in water and energy sectors. He began his career in 2004 with SABIC, gaining valuable project management experience. Later, he worked with ACWA Power and ENGIE in the independent power plant sector. Currently, at Saudi Water Partnerships Company, he manages key projects, including the Buraidah Second Water Treatment Plant (launched in 2022) and the Alhaer Water Treatment Plant.

Holding a Mechanical Engineering degree from Northern Arizona University, Basem excels in developing innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. His expertise in managing  projects contributes significantly to the nation’s goals of sustainable development and improved quality of life.
