An Omani Strategist with a master’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s in business administration. She has a total experience of 27 years, including 10 years in Project management , 6 years in developing policies, laws and legislation, and 11 years in the field of strategic planning and management. She participated as a key member in  preparation of Oman  vision 2040 and directly supervising the preparation of a number of sectoral strategies, such as the Oman Logistics Strategy, the Oman Public Transport Strategy, the Oman Mining Strategy, the Oman Environment Strategy, the unified national strategy for water, the national strategy for the management of chemicals, and is currently working on the national strategy for social housing.

Among the most prominent positions she held were Director General of Planning and Development at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Head of the Oman Mining Strategy Management Office at the Public Authority for Mining, and Head of Strategy Development at the Environment Authority.
